I led Finance and Procurement discovery for an ERP modernization. The work brought together business stakeholders and analysts to document current processes, clarify requirements and prepare for vendor evaluation.
Turn discussions into a usable record
Discovery sessions surfaced the details of how work moved through Finance and Procurement. I translated that feedback into current-state process maps, documented decisions and follow-up work, and clarified owners and timelines.
I produced more than 25 process maps. The maps gave stakeholders a concrete record to review, while feedback loops helped clarify the requirements behind the workflows. I also coordinated BA workloads and the sequence of discovery sessions.
Prepare the evaluation work
Vendor demonstrations need clear requirements and a consistent way to assess them. I helped develop evaluation instruments and worked through the ownership and readiness of the supporting materials.
The contribution was practical: turn discovery into artifacts people could inspect, make unresolved requirements visible and clarify who was responsible for the next step.
My role
I led the discovery work and coordinated business and analytical contributors. This was the discovery and evaluation-readiness phase of the modernization. The concrete outputs were process maps, documented requirements and decisions, and contributions to vendor-evaluation materials.
This work complements my platform delivery experience at LinkedIn and Oracle EBS implementation-readiness work at DENSO: understanding the work that a system must support is part of preparing for a successful implementation.
